As the Creative Director for the NBA’s Australian agency of record, I tackled some uniquely Aussie challenges for the globe’s most iconic league.

First up, was running straight at their biggest competition for eyeballs during the finals – footy.

By infiltrating rugby league heartland with some familiar faces, this social-first stunt gained some serious traction on enemy turf.

I created a brand worthy of the legend’s name that adorns it.

Then…

in partnership with TAB, rolled that out across OOH, digital and social to start the hype train.

As the date drew closer, we assembled a starting lineup.

a new breed of footy-facing baller.

Our new team of sporting hybrids created a raft of social content before, during and after the event,

engaging brand-new audiences of sports-mad aussies.
